• who we help

At MFNC, our experienced team can provide patients with solutions for a variety of different brain injuries and concussions–whether the injury was considered mild to severe–those that have occurred as a result of a sports injury, due to an accident and more. From small children to older adults, we provide care for a wide variety of people facing a diverse range of symptoms and challenges. Often, these people have come to a place of believing that they will never find the help they’ve desired. They’ve visited doctor after doctor perhaps, completed test after test, all to no substantial result.

We work with youth and adults, amateur and professional athletes. We can help patients living with concussion or brain injury issues, even if they have suffered from multiple concussions and even if the injury happened many years past.

Some common presenting symptoms of our patients include:

  • Chronic headaches
  • Neck pain
  • Dizziness and vertigo
  • TMJ pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Migraines
  • Balance deficits
  • Brain fog

Even though there are commonalities with all MFNC patients, every patient is unique and deserves a customized, unique approach to his or her care.

Since most of our patients struggle with concussion and/ or traumatic brain injury of some kind, we’ve provided a definition in the Resources section of this website. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE.

At Minnesota Functional Neurology & Chiropractic, we utilize an individualized and thorough approach to concussion care.

When you choose MFNC, you will receive personal support, a comprehensive examination, and a treatment plan specifically designed for you.

We NEVER rely on the medical opinions or diagnosis of others to guide treatment. Instead, we start from the beginning, working with patients to get a good picture of their past, present, and future health before embarking on the road toward lasting well-being, health and restored function.

When you work with MFNC, you can expect a customized treatment plan and rehab schedule for your unique, individual needs. Our programs work over the course of several sessions in order to truly be effective. This is because we understand that brain plasticity takes time to form and successful concussion rehab doesn’t happen overnight.

When you choose MFNC you are choosing to play a role in your own path to health.
